Quashnet Valley Country Club golf course first opened for play in 1974. The course was designed by Geoffrey S. Cornish.
This natural links-style course has wide fairways and large greens. Quashnet's scenic layout, developed around 330 acres of Cape Cod cranberry bogs and the Quashnet River, offers a beautiful collection of golf holes meandering through a natural setting. The tree-lined fairways, panoramic elevated tees, tranquil ponds and manicured greens will add to your days' enjoyment.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,601 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,141 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 590 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 154 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 1, the 590 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Quashnet Valley Country Club is # 17, a 183 yard par-3.

Not a course for beginners. Requires thinking on every shot. Course management is a must. A real challenge but very enjoyable.

Very Friendly personnel. Course was in great shape, not crowded, But, it was the end of the summer season on the Cape.
